Finance Business Partner | Wirral | £50,000 - £60,000
An opportunity to join a successful, international business operating in a sector that has experienced significant growth over the last 5 years. With a number of large scale projects upcoming along with external investment on board this is an opportunity to join a business at a time you can add real value, influence strategy and drive performance working alongside a highly skilled team.
Main duties will include;
* Build strong working relationships with support service teams to enhance commercial understanding and collaboration.
* Work closely with departments to understand their goals and translate them into financial targets and budgets.
* Generate and analyse performance reports that provide timely and insightful management information.
* Lead initiatives to automate financial processes and reporting using ERP systems and other tools.
* Improve operational efficiency to free up time for deeper financial analysis and insight.
* Develop and manage the annual budget for shared service departments, gaining alignment from stakeholders.
* Collaborate with other finance team members to support a high-performing, effective finance function.
* Support the FP&A Manager and senior leadership with ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
* Use tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and ERP systems (e.g. SAP or Oracle) to analyse and present data.
* Apply strong analytical skills to work with large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
* Communicate financial data clearly and effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
* Take initiative in developing new, systemised approaches to reporting and performance analysis.
* Build positive relationships across departments to ensure good communication and alignment.
* Operate calmly and efficiently under pressure, maintaining accuracy and quality of outputs.
* Continuously seek ways to add value and improve financial insight across the business.
Candidate Profile;
* CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified preferred
* Excellent communication skills
* Prior experience in an FP&A and/or Business Partnering role
* Excellent excel skills
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with support
