About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Housing Allocations Officer to join our team, working five days a week predominantly in our South Birmingham office. This is a 12-week initial contract with potential for extension. Key Responsibilities Proactively contact customers impacted by updates to our allocations policy. Process, update, and manage housing applications via the Abritas system. Cleanse, maintain, and audit the housing register for accuracy. Respond to Part 6 housing enquiries with clarity and compliance. Work strictly in line with current allocations policies and procedures. What We're Looking For Proven professional experience as a Housing Allocations Officer. Competent user of the Abritas Allocations System. Strong understanding of housing legislation, policies, and allocation processes. Excellent IT skills, precise attention to detail, and high data integrity. Confident and effective communicator, capable of managing sensitive/complex conversations.
