The Technical Project Manager will help deliver pre-construction and construction activities for our clients, focusing on pre-construction design and live project settings.

Responsibilities...
1. Provide electrical engineering input to design and ongoing projects.
2. Support and advise on securing potential projects, including client interactions, tenders, and bids.
3. Attend technical meetings with clients and internal teams.
4. Review specifications and drawings; generate RFI and CDE documents.
5. Review and lead technical assessments of outsourced equipment like LV Switchgear, accessories, and busbar products.
6. Assist in contract negotiations, ensuring clear understanding of obligations.
7. Monitor project performance.
8. Coordinate all project aspects with site management teams.
9. Negotiate additional work and resolve disputes.
10. Manage and mentor junior engineers supporting this role.
11. Provide leadership and guidance across project teams professionally.
12. Maintain strong client relationships to meet expectations.
13. Regularly meet with clients, stakeholders, and operations managers to discuss progress.
14. Identify challenges and implement process improvements.
The Person...
1. Third-level qualification or relevant trade experience with a proven track record.
2. Experience in electrical packages, either as a contracts manager or site foreman, is advantageous.
3. Experience in purchasing and negotiating with supply chain and sub-contractors.
4. Exceptional attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy.
5. Ability to analyze and understand contract provisions and requirements.
6. Knowledge of the contract lifecycle.
7. Strong negotiation and collaboration skills.
8. Excellent organizational skills.
9. Ability to coordinate with BIM/CAD teams for design development.
10. Serve as a technical guidance point across projects.
