This opportunity is ideal for a social candidate with high aspirations and a love of drawing work. The Director of this firm is highly qualified, MIStructE, MICE, and an ICE Examiner, practicing technical excellence.
The firm currently employs 10 staff and offers great office space very close to the station. The offices are spacious and feature a pool table, table tennis, and a beer fridge. The company fosters a fun social environment, including an annual trip abroad.
Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience working on building structures projects in Autocad or Revit within a structural design practice. More experienced candidates will also be considered. Good teamwork skills are essential.
The firm has a diverse portfolio, including architecturally led private houses, a £50m 21-storey tower development, a £50m project adding two storeys to a row of shop units, and a bespoke private house with unique features like bowling alleys, an underground disco, a theatre, and a dining room. Projects are often bespoke and challenging.
The office is situated right by Buckhurst Hill station, within walking distance of a park and pubs. It is very dog-friendly, with two dogs currently part of the team.
