Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker with a Dumper and Roller ticket to join our team. The Groundworker will play a crucial role in various construction projects, ensuring that groundwork is completed to the highest standards. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and maintain sites for construction by clearing debris and levelling ground.
* Operate machinery and tools safely to assist in excavation and groundwork tasks.
* Lay foundations, drainage systems, and other groundwork as required.
* Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
* Follow health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
* Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues promptly.
* Assist in the installation of utilities such as water, gas, and electricity where applicable.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in groundwork or a related field is essential.
* A valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card is preferred.
* Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks.
* Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to achieving project goals.
* Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and supervisors.
* A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices on site.
