We are seeking a committed and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a SEND school in Twickenham, catering to students aged 4-19. Many of the students have diagnoses, including autism and/or physical and sensory disabilities. Key Responsibilities: •Provide tailored support to students with severe and complex learning difficulties. •Assist students with additional needs, including autism, physical, and sensory disabilities. •Work collaboratively with teachers and specialists to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons. •Support students with personal care routines, fostering independence and dignity. •Use specialist equipment and follow individual care plans to meet students’ needs. •Build positive relationships with students, promoting their academic, social, and emotional development. Requirements: •Experience working with SEND students, particularly those with severe and complex needs (preferred but not essential). •A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students. •Willingness to assist with personal care and use specialist equipment as required. •Flexibility to work across various age groups (4-19) and adapt to individual needs. •Strong communication and teamwork skills.
