Overview
UK Property and Liability Claims Adjuster role based in London, AISE UK. Responsible for assessing and processing complex UK Property/Liability Claims and for the processing, adjusting and management of existing claims, principally across the UK Property/Liability Claims book.
Responsibilities
* Assess and process complex UK Property/Liability Claims, including processing, adjusting and management of existing claims across the UK Property/Liability Claims book.
* Ensure all UK Property/Liability Claims are dealt with efficiently and fairly, in line with insurance cover, binder requirements and all applicable compliance rules and regulations.
* Actively handle Coverholder relationships and assist the Business Support team in bringing new business to AISE.
* Manage Coverholder accounts with in-depth knowledge of claims Bordeaux, reconciliation and processing claims numbers through our systems.
* Actively report on large and complex claims as required.
* Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Property/Liability Claims and understanding of Agricultural property claims.
* Maintain an effective reserving policy.
* Assist and support the shaping, implementation and delivery of a claims strategy in association with and supporting the UK AISE claims team, Underwriters, Divisional and Claims Departments’ Business Plans.
* Experience of Pre-litigation.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Able to demonstrate a first class application of insurance principles, principally in UK Property/Liability Claims.
* Experienced and comprehensive knowledge of the UK Property/Liability Claims insurance market.
* Excellent facilitation, analytical, investigative and negotiation skills.
* Strong problem solving and ability to find creative solutions.
* Ability to build strong relationships with key TPAs, Coverholders, brokers and clients.
* Ability to set vision and strategy alongside UK Motor Claims management and underwriting colleagues.
* Good understanding of the UK Market and Experience of Pre-litigation.
