Youâll also develop skills in using hand and power tools, working with various metals, and assembling structural components accurately and safely. A typical day as a Welder/Fabricator Apprentice starts with a team briefing to plan tasks and review safety procedures. You'll then move into the workshop, working alongside skilled fabricators to cut, shape, and weld metal components used in specialist vehicle builds. \n\nYou may be involved in assembling brackets, frames, or internal structures, using MIG/TIG welding techniques and various tools. Throughout the day, you'll read technical drawings, check measurements, and follow quality standards. Youâll be supported by mentors, gaining hands-on experience while building your skills.
