About the Role
We’re working with a growing science and technology company building an exciting research campus in Oxford. They’re looking for a hands-on Repair & Maintenance Technician to help keep their buildings, labs, and equipment running smoothly day to day.
This is a great opportunity for someone with practical skills who enjoys problem-solving and wants to develop their career in a modern, high-tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out general maintenance across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and fabric works
* Diagnose and resolve faults across building systems and equipment
* Support maintenance in regulated environments (labs/clinical areas)
* Collaborate with contractors and internal teams across multiple sites
* Ensure all work meets health & safety and compliance standards
Essential Requirements
* Experience in a maintenance, handyperson, or multi-trade role
* Basic skills across building maintenance trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting)
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience
* Trade certification (electrical, plumbing, or similar)
* Experience working in laboratory, healthcare, or other regulated environments
