Are you passionate about building strong customer relationships while ensuring smooth financial operations? We’re looking for a Credit Collections Specialist to join our dynamic EMEA team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of credit and collections activities, ensuring timely invoice payments and maintaining accurate account records.
Responsibilities
* Review the debtor ledger and prioritise collection activities to ensure timely payment of invoices.
* Send monthly statements and payment reminders via phone and email.
* Build positive customer relationships by resolving invoice queries professionally and promptly.
* Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to support credit and collection processes.
* Work with Accountants to reconcile accounts and minimise unallocated receipts.
* Maintain accurate records of credit transactions, customer interactions, and payment histories.
* Act as the first point of contact for collections activities within your assigned region.
* Perform other duties as required to support the credit function.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in Credit Collections within a commercial environment.
* CICM qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Good understanding of industry practices, economic environments, company policies, and regional laws.
* Experience with vendor program structures in sales or credit underwriting.
* Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate situations and apply sound judgment.
