We’re looking for passionate people to join our Entertainment's Tech team at Butlin's Skegness!
We are passionate about producing and delivering the high quality entertainment that Butlin’s has become renowned for. The Technical Support Team are an integral part of the Entertainment Team providing support to in house and external shows alike. Great audio is important with any entertainment. Within Butlin’s our sound engineers require the skills to move from theatrical style spoken word, to a full band set.
Our team are looking for experience in live operating experience - sound engineer Alan and Heath desk knowledge preferred/desirable.
Working alongside a fantastic team, we will support you every step of the way to ensure you gain the skills and confidence to truly get stuck in.
You must be flexible working across weekdays, weekends and evening.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to in-house and external shows as part of the Entertainment Tech team.
* Contribute to high-quality audio production across a range of performances, from spoken word to full band sets.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation and delivery of entertainment events.
About You
Being a great team player is essential and you should also enjoy the buzz of a busy environment. No day will ever be the same, so you should be happy to try new things and chat to lots of different people.
Our resorts are open in the week and during the weekend so you will need some flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Do let us know your availability at the application stage and we can have a chat with you about this in more detail.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience in live operating environments; sound engineering knowledge is preferred/desirable (Alan and Heath desk familiarity).
* Flexible availability across weekdays, weekends, and evenings.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to work in a busy, dynamic environment.
