We have a new opportunity to join our service as a Cardiographer on a fixed term contract, this is a patient facing role. You will be responsible for communicating between various teams to ensure we are delivering a seamless service to our patients With the relevant training you will be performing a range of cardiology investigations, including 12-lead ECG, fitting and removing ambulatory ECG and Blood pressure monitors and home blood pressure monitors which involves sending reports on to clinicians.

Everyday you will...
* Perform 12-lead ECGs to Society of Cardiological Science and Technology (SCST) standards, Fit and remove ambulatory ECG and blood pressure monitors and to upload and download results
* Receive and download patch monitors, clean and decontaminate and prepare for next use and also sending out monitors/patches to patients.
* Be a first point of contact for telephone support to patients with any monitor queries/concerns
* Ensure that your practice is patient centered and that a high quality of care is provided, adhering to infection prevention and control (IP&C) standards at all times
* Assist with clinical audit and ensure any incidents and complaints are reported in a timely manner

* Experience of working with patients in a healthcare environment
* Basic awareness of infection control and clinical governance protocols
* Basic IT skills with a willingness to learn hospital administration systems
