Your Role as a Nursery Practitioner:
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating a safe, fun, and educational atmosphere for young children. Your daily duties will include:
* Delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of all children in your care.
* Building positive and trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Observing, assessing, and recording each child's progress and development.
* Working collaboratively with the team to maintain a high-quality learning environment.
* Promoting a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
* Qualification: A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, BTEC).
* Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Nursery Nurse, Early Years Practitioner, or in a similar childcare role.
* Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills. A patient, creative, and caring demeanor is essential.
* Knowledge: A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
