IFE Level 3 Consultant Based in the South West (Site and home based) Basic up to £60,000 depending on experience. About the Role We are looking for an experienced IFE Level 3 Consultant to join our clients expanding fire safety team. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape fire safety strategies across retrofit projects, the blue light sector, and diverse commercial developments. Based in the Southwest, you’ll also play a key role in supporting projects nationwide as they continue to grow. What You’ll Do ✅ Conduct detailed fire risk assessments and provide consultancy in line with IFE Level 3 standards. ✅ Develop and review fire strategies across retrofit, blue light, and commercial projects. ✅ Ensure compliance with fire safety legislation, Building Regulations, and best practice. ✅ Collaborate with architects, contractors, and authorities to deliver integrated fire safety solutions. ✅ Produce clear, accurate technical reports and project documentation. ✅ Stay ahead with knowledge of legislation, guidance, and emerging fire safety standards. What We’re Looking For IFE Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience). Proven background in fire safety consultancy/risk assessment. Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations & fire engineering standards. Excellent communication & client management skills. Self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects. Desirable: ⭐ Chartered or working toward MIFireE. ⭐ Retrofit & blue light sector experience. ⭐ Familiarity with BS 9991 / BS 9999. ⭐ Proficiency with digital compliance/reporting tools.
