The Role
1. Working as part of a team of engineers, responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance and service of all the state-of-the-art kit on site, as well as continuous improvement tasks.
2. Working on Three Phase Motors, drives, working in panels with sensors, relays, contactors, invertors, fuses, power supplies, breakers, switches and Robotics
3. Also working on Gearboxes, Shafts, Belts, Vales, Pumps, Seals, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems
4. Reading through electrical schematics, utilizing electrical test equipment such as multi-meters and fault finding on panels.
5. Swapping both electrical and mechanical components like for like with the odd strip and rebuild project,
6. Working with latest technology working with a CMMS utilising the tablet-based PPM and reactive work
The Person
7. A Recognised Engineering Qualification, NVQ Level 3 minimum or equivalent
8. Maintenance experience within an industrial environment including FMCG, Manufacturing, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace and Warehousing environment.
9. Electrical or Mechanical Fault-Finding skills, looking at Root Cause Analysis
10. PLC or Controls experience would be advantageous but not mandatory.
11. Able to work well within a team and help support colleagues on shift
