Job Summary
Air Command is the Headquarters for the Royal Air Force, and the Career Management directorate is responsible for apportioning workforce to fill job roles, ensure appropriate conditions of service and balance business need with personal aspirations where possible. CM Charter Career Management sits within the Director People AOR.
The role of the Administrative Support is to assist the Career Managers in the delivery of Career Management. The workforce is made up of a range of military ranks, and Civil Servants.
Where business needs allow, some home-based working will be supported. This is a non-contractual arrangement where all office-based employees will be expected to spend 60% of their working time in office, subject to capacity and any required reasonable adjustments.
The position is advertised at 30 hours a week.
Job Description
On a daily basis, the successful candidate will be doing the following:
* Conduct all activity IAW StanEval prescribed process.
* Operate JPA effectively:
* Raise Assignment Orders.
* Conduct data quality checks/ rectifications and signpost areas of issue to relevant CM.[1]
* Maintain and update all relevant CM spreadsheets and records.[2]
* Assist with electronic filing/ edossier processing.
* Signpost SP to core CM policy or relevant CM.
* Manage loading for DWR and SMT courses, liaising with training POCs as required.
[1] Routine assignments (UK/ Overseas, DWR, Phase 2 (ITT), Phase 3 (STT) according to role specific tasks. This may include liaison with Parent Units to highlight critical or time sensitive pre-deployment training. This may also include loading of promotion specific courses e.g. TMT1/2.
