Job Description
The main function of the role is to support the Dundee operations and provide support to the finance team of all areas of cost.
The main duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Complete responsibility for the management and reporting of all aspects of cost for the facility
2. Preparation of monthly cost reports including commentary and performance analysis ensuring timely follow up and development of an action plan for any issues highlighted
3. Driving strong pro-active cost control and analysis understanding product cost trends, driving the cost reduction program and controlling fixed costs
4. Leading the product cost tracking program ensuring timely reporting
5. Financial control of Inventory trends and movements drive inventory controls and best practice
6. Ownership of the Standard Cost setting process
7. Leading and participating in various factory wide NPD and Cost Reduction projects and initiatives
8. Input into the budget and business plan
9. Input into the preparation of financial forecasts
10. Development and enforcement of internal controls and corporate policies
11. Assist the Financial Controller on divisional finance projects
