About The Role
Your focus as Team Leader will be to support the home management team in delivering high-quality care by creating a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Other Responsibilities Will Include
* Leading in the person-centred care planning process, including implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and auditing care plans, developing action plans, and ensuring their completion.
* Assisting in the smooth discharge process, including documentation, medication management, and keeping residents' next of kin informed where appropriate.
* Monitoring residents' well-being, recognizing changes impacting care, updating care plans accordingly, and ensuring records reflect any variations.
* Practicing safe systems of work, assessing risks, and ensuring safety during resident handling and other tasks.
About You
To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.
Our Ideal Candidate Must
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have at least two years’ experience in a senior role with residents.
* Be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrate leadership abilities and responsibility in the absence of the manager.
