Job Description:
Temporary School Cleaner
1. Location:Wadebridge
2. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 3pm - 5:30pm (Paid 4 hours)
3. Contract Type: Temporary ongoing
4. Start Date: Immediate
5. Pay: 4 hours per day (paid), despite 2 hours 30 minutes worked.
6. £13 per hour.
You MUST have an in-date DBS on the child's barred list.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Cleaner to support our cleaning team for an ongoing basis. This role is critical in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors.
7. Cleaning of all classrooms, public and staff areas
8. Toilets, kitchen, canteen, and office areas.
Key Responsibilities:
9. Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and other school areas
10. Emptying bins, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
11. Following health and safety guidelines and school procedures
12. Reporting any issues or required maintenance
Candidate Requirements:
13. Enhanced DBS check with child workforce clearance is ESSENTIAL.
14. Previous professional cleaning experience is desirable.
15. Ability to work independently and take initiative.
16. Strong attention to detail and reliability.
