Operations Coordinator - Maternity Cover (12 months)

We're looking for a proactive self-starter to be our new Operations Coordinator as Maternity Cover for 12 months. Dependent on business needs, there may be an opportunity for this position to extend beyond 12 months. The Operations Team organises all of SwimTrek’s open water adventures – from recruiting, training the guides, organising equipment and health and safety to ensure our trips are delivered to the highest safety standards.

This key role involves working within the Operations Team under the direction of the Travel & Logistics Manager to enable our trips to be safe, efficient, memorable, cost-effective and of course fun! A proactive self-starter you could be starting out your career in the leisure and tourism industry working in a busy and supportive team.


Reporting to the Travel & Logistics Manager, the key responsibilities of the role are:
* Trip Preparation & Information Management
* Budgeting & Financial Coordination
* Guide Support & Communication
* Safety & Reporting
* Travel & Logistics
* Administrative
* Out-of-Hours Emergency Support
* General Operational Support


What We’re Looking For:Essential:
* Proactive, adaptable, and resourceful.
* Personable, approachable, and confident in communication.
* High level of integrity and accountability.
* A team player who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
* GCSE level in English & Math’s
* Knowledge of Microsoft office applications
* Knowledge of open water swimming
* Experience of using initiative to solve problems
* Experience working in a busy team environment
* Experience using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and SharePoint effectively for general administration
Desirable:
* To be able to speak a foreign language.
* Passionate about, travel, adventure or open water swimming.
* Experience working overseas

* LOCATION: Office located on Brighton Beach (Sea Lanes) overlooking a 50m pool and the sea
* SALARY: Market rate
* HOLIDAYS: 33 days (inc. Bank Holidays)
* PENSION: employer contribution
* WORKING HOURS: Full time based on 37.5 hours a week
* FLEXIBLE HOURS: Between 8AM-6PM with remote working options.

The details:

* Full-time (37.5 hours a week)
* Salary: £26,000-£28,000 depending on relevant experience.
