Who we are looking for...
We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Residential Registered Manager to join our established Residential Team at Bay View. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to supporting the home's ethos, guiding young people aged 8-18 with SEBD towards positive outcomes, and ensuring a safe, secure, and homely environment.
Role Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day operations to exceed Ofsted National Standards.
• Develop a culture of trust and mutual respect between staff and residents.
• Establish positive working relationships with families, authorities, healthcare providers, and other key contacts.
• Maintain 100% occupancy rates.
• Efficiently manage costs within the agreed budget.
• Ensure all staff adhere to Ofsted standards, legal requirements, and company policies.
• Proactively participate in weekly management meetings and monthly board meetings.
Essential Criteria:
• QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People) and QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce (or equivalent).
• A minimum of 3 years' experience within the last 5 years in a relevant role in residential care, including at least 1 year supervising and managing staff in a care role.
• Must hold a manual driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
• Must be able to undertake on-call duties (rota shared between 5).
• Comprehensive knowledge of Children’s Home legislation, Ofsted inspection requirements, and safeguarding protocols.
