Key responsibilities and duties Supporting the Operations and Logistics function for Theory by working with the Logistics Team to ensure inbound shipments, customs clearances, 3PL warehouses and outbound couriers are able to operate with all necessary processes completed on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Monitoring the movement of inbounding goods from international factories and distribution centres into the 3PLs. Proactively informing internal teams of any changes to either inbound or outbound order progress. Supporting the effective resolution of any operational issues, as and when they arise. Working in collaboration with the 3PLs to ensure retail and ecommerce requirements are met (retail delivery schedules, next day EC shipments cut offs etc). Ensuring the EC and RTV returns process is maintained correctly and efficiently. Report creation and response as required. Assisting in recording movements of stock and updating stock information in ERP. Organising deliveries of retail equipment, packaging, VM goods to stores upon request. Participating in Development Project meetings as required. Learning the Blue Cherry and Teamworks operating systems. Become familiar with order entry, stock enquiries and order release. Using the logistic partners portals to track progress on inbound shipments and outbound orders. Weekly KPI reporting on 3PL operating results. Key skills and experience Experience of working in a similar position within the retail logistics industry. Experience of dealing with 3PLs and Freight Forwarders. Excellent attention to detail. Demonstrable prioritisation skills. Experience with logistics systems. Advanced Excel skills. Strong communication skills. Able to work independently and take personal ownership ‘Can-do’ positive approach. Proactive and passionate about problem solving.
