JOB TITLE: Delivery Driver
SALARY: £13.45
Purpose of the Job
You will deliver stationary and furniture to schools throughout Hertfordshire in a 7.5 tonne van.
Main Areas of Responsibility
Transportation and delivery of goods from the depot to customers' sites, encompassing unloading and delivery into customers' premises (including delivery to multiple points/desktops within a customer premises).
Use e-pod technology to ensure accuracy of deliveries, completion of delivery documentation, information flow to the main depot and information flow to the customers.
Drivers shall ensure that the vehicle is loaded correctly and in the correct order for the delivery cycle. Ensure that the vehicle is not overloaded and that there are no health and safety issues with the load.
During the busy periods, Drivers will assist with the picking and packing of orders.
Drivers shall manage all returns of goods and collection/transfer of non-confidential and confidential waste from customer premises, including bagging and sealing.
