Ocean Infinity is seeking a Fleet Manager to support the operations of our state of the art Armada fleet. The Fleet Manager will oversee and optimise all aspects of our offshore operations and ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations that align with commercial project requirements and client expectations. Acting as the vital interface between operational payload teams, service delivery teams, and OSM vessel managers, the role focuses on delivering high-quality outcomes while maintaining compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards. This role is critical to supporting the company’s growth, operational success, and commitment to delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. This role cover vessel and their permanent installed launch and recovery systems and is responsible to perform commercial project mobilisations on time and in budget. What you will do: Operational Management Plan and oversee offshore operations, mobilisations, fuel consumption, and scheduling to maximise operational efficiency and minimise costs. Ensure all permits and permissions required for vessel operations are secured and managed effectively. Monitor vessel and payload operational performance and collaborate with OSM vessel managers and Ocean Infinity Project Managers to address productivity and maintenance or operational issues proactively. Optimize port call planning, end responsible for the port call optimization, cross collaborating with all stakeholders that require activities to take place in a port call. Operational Coordination Serve as the primary liaison between operational payload teams, service delivery teams, and OSM vessel managers. Align vessel operations with project requirements, ensuring timely and successful execution. Support payload operations (ROV, AUV, Geotechnical and Geophysical) by ensuring vessels are operationally prepared for deployment. Performance Optimisation Drive continuous improvement initiatives across vessel and subsea operations operations, focusing on safety, sustainability, and efficiency. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for vessel and payload utilisation, costs, and project delivery. Safety and Compliance Ensure all vessel operations adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all aspects of vessel operations. Leadership and Team Collaboration Provide guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams involved in vessel management and operations. Support alignment between vessel operations and broader organisational objectives. Who you are: Extensive experience in vessel management and maritime operations, preferably within complex project environments. Strong understanding of routing, fuel optimisation, regulatory compliance, and safety standards. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage key stakeholder relationships. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency and risk mitigation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as a liaison across multiple teams. Desirable: Familiarity with OSM or equivalent vessel management frameworks. Experience in separating operational responsibilities (e.g., vessel vs payload operations). Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and optimise operational workflows. Salary for this position: Up to £110,000 per annum Salary : The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades.
