We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant school in Stockport, Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for those considering a career in education or looking to build on their existing classroom experience.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage classroom behaviour in the absence of the regular teacher.
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.
* Provide support and guidance to students to help maintain a positive learning environment.
* Report back on student progress and any issues arising during the cover period.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with young people is advantageous.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
* Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments.
* Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one.
