work schedule. In this role, you will impact the development and delivery of smart water meter products that contribute to efficient water management and sustainability. Your ability to provide technical guidance and support to your team members will foster a collaborative and productive work environment. We Enable our Customers to Enhance the Safety, Sustainability, Resilience, and Productivity of their People, Plants, and Assets Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of mechanical design engineers to develop and deliver high-quality smart water meter products, including architecture, design, implementation, validation, manufacturing, and release of components and products. Provide technical guidance and leadership to global resources and activities for mechanical design in Water Metering products. Support team members with necessary resources and knowledge. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution, managing timelines, budgets, and resources. Drive innovation projects to create new functionalities, improve cost efficiency, enhance performance, and develop better design tools and architectural concepts for future water meters that exceed customer expectations. Must Have Skills 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and development. Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, especially in molding and casting parts for high-volume, cost-sensitive applications. Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools. Good understanding of fluid mechanics, simulation, and its impact on design. Experience with product testing, validation, and reliability testing. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to drive results and meet project deadlines. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. We Value Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field; Master’s degree is a plus. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Innovative mindset and passion for technology. Proven track record of achieving program targets including schedule, quality, and cost. Experience working with utilities and in the metering industry, understanding their specific requirements.
