Job Description
We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic Transport Manager to our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our transport operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee Transport Activities: Resource, organise, and supervise transport operations.
2. Direct Management: Lead a team of around 25 driver/loading staff.
3. Operational Management: Handle day-to-day operations across multiple transport areas in the South West, including driver route allocation and ensuring all operational and legal compliance.
4. Support Senior Operations Manager: Assist with local and group objectives.
5. Record Keeping: Maintain driver induction records, CPC records, licence checks, and training.
6. Customer Relations: Manage key contacts within our customer base.
