Main Duties/Responsibilities
* Monitor, assess, and care for patients before, during and after endoscopy procedures.
* Manage endoscopic equipment, including endoscopes, biopsy forceps, and needles.
* Implement, and monitor appropriate standards, policies, and procedures.
* Perform duties according to local hospital policies, procedures, and standards; ensure compliance with regulations.
* Prepare administrative reports and documents, and perform other job-related duties as required.
Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications
Essential
* Be a Registered Nurse/ODP
* At least 1 year experience within an Endoscopy setting
* JAG Accreditation preferred but not essential
