Overview
Chief Information Security Officer, IFP at Kimberly-Clark. The CISO, IFP will shape and execute the global cybersecurity strategy for the International Family Care & Professional (IFP) joint venture, leading security for manufacturing and commercial activities across multiple markets. Reporting to the CIO, IFP, the CISO is a trusted advisor to senior leadership, aligning cybersecurity with business objectives and enabling secure, scalable solutions for growth and digital transformation. This role is part of a prospective JV with Suzano and is anticipated to transfer to the new venture upon closing, mid-2026, subject to legal requirements.
Responsibilities
* Define and lead a global cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives.
* Advise senior leadership and the JV Board on cyber risks, threats, and mitigation strategies.
* Drive enterprise-wide security transformation initiatives, including Zero Trust, cloud security, and secure supply chains.
* Enable privacy by design and support collection and protection of first-party consumer data.
* Develop and maintain security policies and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
* Oversee risk assessments, audits, and compliance with global regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOX, HIPAA).
* Manage third-party risk and secure vendor relationships; chair the Cyber-Risk Steering Committee and report cyber risk metrics to executives.
* Lead global security operations: SOC, incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management.
* Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans; oversee IAM, DLP, endpoint protection, and IT security infrastructure.
* Collaborate with IT, Legal, HR, and Enterprise Risk teams to embed security into processes and products; coordinate incident response and engage external auditors as needed.
Qualifications
* Extensive information security experience, including senior leadership roles; proven track record delivering enterprise-wide security programs in Fortune 500 environments.
* Experience in consumer goods, retail, or FMCG sectors preferred; strong background in hybrid cloud, global regulatory landscapes, and complex supply chains.
* Leadership in developing global policies and strategies to protect customers, supply chain, employees, IT assets, and intellectual property; excellent stakeholder communication at Board level.
* Advanced knowledge in platform, data, network, and perimeter security; security governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks; digital identity management and authentication.
* Ability to translate technical risk into business impact and influence strategic decisions; program management and cross-functional leadership.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field; Master’s preferred. Certifications: CISSP, CISM or equivalent; MBA or advanced business qualification is a plus.
