Location: Glasgow – Govan and Scotstoun (On-site attendance required for a recruitment day in Glasgow)
Salary: £38,662.00 (plus a potential 33% shift allowance)
Your Mission:
As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will play a crucial role in our team, contributing to the manufacturing and installation of essential components. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Manufacturing and installing ventilation and furniture
* Upholding engineering standards with a commitment to quality
* Utilizing a variety of hand tools
* Applying your hand skills for both manufacturing and installation
* Interpreting manufacturing and installation drawings
Your Skills and Experience:
We’re looking for candidates who bring the following:
* A Modern Apprenticeship certificate (Trade Papers required)
* A solid understanding of SHE, COSHH risks, and manufacturing processes
* Comfort in working in confined spaces and at heights
* Safety certifications (e.g., SHE Induction, COSHH awareness, working at height)
* A background in a major construction or manufacturing environment
