A Level Business Teacher – Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Teach A Level Business to Sixth Form students (KS5)
Demonstrate expert knowledge of the full A Level Business curriculum
Apply detailed understanding of AQA, Edexcel and OCR Business specifications
Deliver highly structured lessons focused on assessment objectives
Embed strong exam technique, essay structure, and data response skills
Prepare students for 9–25 mark questions and extended analytical writing
Use performance data to secure excellent A Level Business results
This role requires absolute subject confidence and precision in exam preparation.
Essential Requirements – Business A Level Specialist
Applicants must:
Have significant experience teaching Business at A Level
Possess expert knowledge of A Level Business content areas including:
Marketing
Finance
Operations
Human Resources
Strategic Management
Demonstrate strong understanding of exam board mark schemes and grade descriptors
Have a proven track record of strong A Level outcomes
Be confident preparing students for university and competitive courses
