Operations Manager - Education Catering - Independent Catering Company - TELFORD/SHREWSBURY area. Salary £55k with car or car allowance. 25 days Annual Leave, Cash back health scheme, Pension.
My client is an independent contract catering company who are passionate about providing an exceptional catering service to their clients, covering the education, B&I, and healthcare sectors.
Responsibilities
* Oversee education sites consisting of a mix of Primary & Secondary Schools in the TELFORD/SHREWSBURY area.
* Drive the business forward; manage clients effectively and hit the ground running.
* Attend client meetings and participate in business development with potential clients.
* Train new starters and existing staff and troubleshoot operational issues.
* Assist with mobilisation of new contracts.
Qualifications
* Previous Operational Management experience, particularly within the Education sector.
* Passion for food and up-to-date with current food trends.
* Experience in training staff and increasing sales in units.
* Strong communication skills and financial acumen.
* Background from a quality-focused contract catering company with Operation/Area Management experience in the Education sector.
* Willingness to be based in/commutable to the TELFORD/SHREWSBURY area.
