Overview
Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 180 years, and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic self‑starter, experienced in alumni relations, fundraising or comparable activities to continue the development of the University’s alumni relations programme. The main purpose of the role is to co‑ordinate the alumni relations programme, maintain and grow the alumni database, organise and execute events, identify donor opportunities, develop newsletters and other communications, and identify potentially beneficial linkages between specific teaching or research goals of the University and the interests of alumni.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, have experience in alumni relations, fundraising or comparable activities, and have skills in customer‑relationship management, events management, marketing, communications and copywriting. A degree in a creative arts related subject or working in a related field would be desirable.
