Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Support Technician
Are you someone who is looking to join a team that is leading change and innovation? We are looking for a proactive Manufacturing Engineering Support Technician who is ready to join our world class manufacturing facility. You will be part of a highly focused team of Engineers and Technicians within the Manufacturing Engineering department whose work leads the implementation of the latest manufacturing technologies and introducing the latest machines.
Responsibilities
* Driving manufacturing best practices into the production environment.
* Complete root cause analysis for quality and inefficiency improvements to implement robust process containment measures.
* Facilitate the development of manufacturing process solutions, working with functional teams, using tools such as process flows, PFMEA, control plans.
* Promote lean and quality as a focus within the business.
* CAD software utilisation; design of jigs and fixtures, updating floorplans and completing virtual builds.
* Adhere to the company's Health and Safety policy and safe working practices.
* Adhere to Caterpillar's Values in Action: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Teamwork, & Sustainability.

Qualifications
* Good understanding of building and construction equipment assembly, test or finish processes and production.
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety Awareness and Controls Safety.
* Working knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter would be advantageous.
* Experience of quality concern resolution with tools such as 8D, 5 Why, fishbone diagrams and other appropriate quality tools.
