About Sherpa Cleans Ltd
Sherpa Cleans Ltd is an exciting, expanding and fast paced business operating throughout the central belt of Scotland. Our aim is to provide high quality professional cleaning services to short term let (STL) properties, commercial sites, popup hotel and apartment hotel clients. We cover a range of commercial property cleaning in offices, restaurants, bars and event spaces. For short term let properties and pop-up hotels during festival periods we cover all elements of the guest turnover from linen hire and laundry services to all cleaning services and welcome packs.
Job Description
The Team Leader role is to support the high quality service delivery of the organisation to meet our client needs. This will be through the recruitment, introductory training and ongoing training and quality control inspections of our cleaning staff focused on the STL properties. Crucially, this role will be to support the logistics of drivers and linen management processes of the business too, as well as stock management at our Head-Quarters.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Line management of staff in the STL cleaning team
· Linen and other assets - stock control
· Induction training and management of ongoing training plans
· Inspections and quality control checks as required
· Review of customer feedback and implementation of corrective actions as required
· Reviewing opportunities to improve cleaning processes including equipment and products used
· Supporting other team members as required to ensure business continuity
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Minimum 1 years of experience in a housekeeper/cleaner role
· Experience in supervisory or team leader role where training cleaners and giving feedback for improvement has been a focus
· Experience of operating in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Self-motivated to work independently or as part of a team
· Diligent attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: Full time - 40 hours per week
