Helix Well Ops (UK) Ltd is part of Helix Energy Solutions, a global offshore energy services company specialising in Well Intervention and Robotics Operations. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Accountant to join our finance team in Dyce, Aberdeen, UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and post month‑end journal entries
* Assist with bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
* Support Accounts Payable and intercompany accounting processes
* Assist with group and statutory audits
* Process intercompany invoices and labour recharges
* Prepare cost reports and investigate budget variances
* Support Capex reporting and capital commitment tracking
* Assist with regulatory and financial reporting requirements
* Maintain supplier records and financial data accuracy
* Support project setup and finance administration
* Assist with continuous improvement of accounting processes
* Assist the AP department with statement reconciliation
* Fulfilment of any other tasks required by the Financial Controller to aid development and growth
Requirements
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related subject
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication skills
* Desire to study towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or ICAS)
