Duties of aWorkshop Contoller:
* Manage and organise all aspects of the bodyshop operations, including workflow and job prioritisation
* Conduct daily engagement meetings with technicians and support staff to monitor progress
* Oversee the maintenance of tools, equipment, and workshop health and safety standards
* Ensure all repair jobs are completed to set quality standards and in accordance with client expectations
* Manage waste disposal, utilities, and workshop security efficiently
* Coordinate between technicians, management, and customers to communicate progress and resolve issues
* Support the team to uphold technical quality and deliver excellent customer service
* Oversee stock control, documentation, and accurate completion of job cards
Requirements of a Workshop Contoller:
* NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, ATA, or equivalent recognised qualification in vehicle body repairs
* Proven experience as a Bodyshop Workshop Controller, Workshop Supervisor, or similar role within the automotive repair industry
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple repairs simultaneously
* Knowledge of vehicle repair processes, quality standards, and workshop management systems
* Full UK Driving Licence
* A proactive attitude with the ability to motivate and lead a team as aWorkshop Contoller
* Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction
