To work at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as Deputy Lead Radiographer for MRI. The service provides an MRI service and is located within the radiology department at Hillingdon Hospital.
The Radiology Service at Hillingdon Hospital operates 24/7 with core hours 8am–8pm Monday–Friday. The MRI service operates 8am–5pm daily, excluding weekends.
Responsibilities
* Act effectively as a member of the Radiology team, serving as a role model for radiographic staff.
* Provide clinical leadership and undertake managerial responsibilities, maintaining high quality standards.
* Coordinate and communicate effectively with Modality Lead Radiographers.
* Assist the Lead Radiographer in developing MRI protocols and procedures.
* Contribute to the development of radiographer vetting processes.
* Represent the MRI service as part of a multi‑professional team and support relevant clinical networks.
* Relate to all patients with care, compassion, and confidentiality.
* Maintain and enhance information technology skills relevant to imaging.
* Utilise departmental radiology information systems to register patients, check results, and schedule appointments.
* Manage and support training of radiographers, clinical imaging assistants, and students in MRI.
