Are you a sparky, detail-loving social media aficionado with a big heart and a flair for storytelling? This much-loved restaurant group, known for its vibrant cafés, hospitality with real warmth, and its deep appreciation for food, culture, and community, is looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to lead their digital storytelling.
You'll be the voice behind a beloved brand that celebrates connection through food, bringing stories to life across Instagram, TikTok, and beyond. If you're endlessly curious about where to eat next, thrive in creative chaos, and have a keen eye for what makes people stop scrolling, this could be your perfect role.
Responsibilities
* Lead and grow the brand's presence across all major social platforms, with particular focus on Instagram and TikTok.
* Create and deliver compelling, story-driven content that brings the brand's culture, people, and cafés to life.
* Oversee and guide freelance videographers, offering clear creative direction and feedback to ensure consistently high-quality work.
* Partner with the marketing, PR, and creative teams to plan and execute an engaging social calendar that supports wider campaigns and business priorities.
* Work alongside Guest Services to manage community engagement, responding thoughtfully to feedback and handling any escalations with care.
* Capture and produce social-first content using an agile, hands-on approach (including shooting with an iPhone) that feels authentic, timely, and on-trend.
* Monitor social performance and audience insights to inform strategy, optimise content, and report on key results.
Skills & Experience
* 3-5 years of experience managing social media for food, hospitality, or lifestyle brands.
* Proven ability to build brand engagement and drive community growth.
* Strong creative instincts with an ability to tell stories visually and emotionally.
* Experience managing agencies or freelancers and providing clear creative direction.
* Proficiency with social analytics tools and an analytical, data-informed mindset.
* Passionate about food, drink, and culture, with a bonus if you understand South Asian influences and aesthetics.
* Tenacious, entrepreneurial, and comfortable in a fast-moving, non-corporate environment.
