Job Description

Our client is a specialist lending organisation focused on delivering responsible, well-managed finance solutions. They work in partnership with a range of clients to ensure lending decisions are delivered smoothly and effectively from approval through to funding. With a strong emphasis on governance, control and service quality, their teams play a vital role in ensuring a consistent and well-managed borrower experience across the lending lifecycle.

About the Role

This is a key front-line role within the lending function, responsible for managing the journey of approved lending cases through to drawdown. The Lending Services Manager ensures all conditions are satisfied, documentation is accurate, and all regulatory, legal and risk requirements are fully met.

Working closely with borrowers and internal stakeholders, the role is central to delivering a smooth, controlled and transparent post-approval experience. It combines hands-on case management with first-line risk oversight, ensuring lending is progressed efficiently, accurately and in line with policy.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage lending cases end-to-end from credit approval through to drawdown
* Ensure all conditions precedent are satisfied and documentation is accurate
* Act as a consistent point of contact for borrowers, providing clear communication and updates
* Apply first-line risk and quality controls, identifying and escalating issues where appropriate
* Review key documentation to ensure alignment with approved terms and policy requirements
* Collaborate with Credit, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Relationship teams
* Maintain accurate case records and pipeline visibility to support forecasting and control

What Our Client is Looking For

* Experience in secured lending
* Strong understanding of credit processes, lending conditions and risk requirements
* Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including KYC, KYB and AML
* Confident, structured decision-maker able to work within defined authority
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases at pace
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
* Proactive, hands-on approach with strong ownership of outcomes
* Collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management skills
* This is a 12-month fixed term contract, offered on a full-time basis with a 4-day working week (flexible working considered).
* Hybrid and remote working available. The start date is June 2026.
