We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our East Hants PCN team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a pharmacy setting and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting GPs with medication administration and ensuring the smooth operation of the service. This role will be based at Horndean Surgery
Main duties of the job
* Provide excellent patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage
* Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as pharmacy policies
* Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and restocking medications and supplies
* Perform administrative tasks such as processing insurance claims and handling payments
* Educate patients on proper medication administration techniques
About us
This role will work closely with GPs, nurses & paramedics at our Horndean Surgery helping to ensure GPs are supported and that objectives are met in line with NHSE contractual agreements. The team is a really happy, friendly group of staff working collaboratively in this business GP surgery.

Person Specification
Experience
* 2 years experience as a pharmacy technician.
* Experience of working within a clinical team, preferably primary but not essential
* Experience of dealing with patients.
