Be responsible for the delivery and development of the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy Services within Central London Community Health Care Trust (CLCH).
KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
* Regularly liaise with local GPs and other health professionals regarding patient care and health promotion. Provide comprehensive discharge and clinical reports promptly to referrers (such as GPs), patients, and multidisciplinary team members.
* Communicate effectively with patients and their families or carers through verbal, non-verbal, and written means to maximize rehabilitation potential. Utilize negotiation, motivation, explanation, reassurance, and work with interpreters when necessary.
* Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and sensitivity while providing appropriate care tailored to patient needs.
* Collaborate with team members, including junior and senior staff.
* Maintain professionalism and be legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of your work, including patient management. Ensure high standards of clinical care and support peers in doing the same.
* Provide an equitable service for all patients, including hard-to-reach populations.
* Undertake comprehensive patient assessments using investigative and analytical skills. Recognize professional limitations and seek support through supervision, peer discussion, or team case discussions.
* Apply appropriate assessment and treatment techniques based on evidence-based practice, guidelines, and policies, including manual handling and confidentiality.
* Show compassion, empathy, and sensitivity when caring for patients with acute, chronic, or complex conditions, including victims of torture or mental health patients.
* Triages referrals to ensure suitability for the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Service according to triage guidelines.

Shifts are paid hourly and weekly, based on hours worked. Bank staff are paid according to the Agenda for Change pay bands.
Weekly pay includes: Basic pay, Unsocial hours (if applicable)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You should be adept at conveying complex condition-related information effectively to patients and families, including those with limited English, using advocates when necessary.
Negotiate case management in complex cases and ensure collaborative working. Communicate professionally and accurately with GPs and other care team members via phone, letter, email, or in person, sharing sensitive information related to patient progress or clinical interventions.
