Design Manager
We are recruiting for a Design Manager for a national contractor from their regional office in Bristol. The company is one of the largest contractors in the UK, family run, profitable with secured future workload and cash in the bank. They operate in the education, student and BTR, retail and leisure, mixed use development and office markets, and schemes are won through 2‑stage frameworks or repeat business from delighted clients, ranging from £30 million to £150 million in value.
Responsibilities
* Work on schemes from bid stages through detailed 2nd stage before taking onto site.
* Help build and deliver the scheme – bid it, win it, develop it through 2nd stage, and then deliver it on site.
* Assist with full life‑cycle project delivery.
Qualifications
* Experienced Design Manager or ambitious Design Coordinator ready to step up.
* Knowledge of the implementation of the Building Safety Act; chartered status is an advantage. If not chartered, external training will be provided.
* Eligible to live and work in the UK.
