The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust provides acute treatment and care for a catchment population of around 500,000 people in Bath and the surrounding towns and villages in North East Somerset and Western Wiltshire. Job Overview
Royal United Hospitals Bath are seeking a dynamic and compassionate leader – a research practitioner (Clinical Research Matron if NMC registered) with extensive experience in research delivery to expand and manage our portfolio. The successful candidate will have a background in clinical research delivery, a strong track record of managing teams, and advanced knowledge of research delivery to ensure quality, financial and clinical governance is embedded, and to play a key role in the development, management, and implementation of our research delivery strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and management for clinical research delivery teams across the Trust.
* Maximise the effectiveness of resources to deliver research within the Trust.
* Ensure the safe and ethical implementation of clinical research studies in accordance with Trust policies and national legislation.
* Provide a quality, customer‑focused service to all research participants based on expert practice.
* Serve as a senior focus for professional support and an expert role model for clinical research delivery staff.
* Operate with a high level of autonomy and freedom to act within the Trust’s research leadership structure.
