Class 2 / HGV 2 (Cat C) Drivers Wanted - Waste & Recycling
Are you an experienced HGV 2 driver looking for steady work, great pay, and the chance to go permanent? Driver Hire Edinburgh City is recruiting a reliable and motivated Class 2 / HGV 2 (Cat C) driverto join a busy, well-established waste and recycling company based in the East Lothian area.
The Role:
*
Monday to Friday - enjoy your weekends off!
*
Start times: Between 05:00 - 06:00
*
Work alongside a driver's mate
*
Collect waste from city centre and surrounding locations
*
Operate the weighbridge and complete daily vehicle checks
This is a 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity - impress during your probation and join the company full time!
What You'll Need:
*
A valid Category C (HGV 2) licence
*
CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
*
No more than 6 penalty points (sorry, no DD, DR, CD or IN endorsements)
*
Previous experience in a similar driving role is advantageous
Pay Rates (Advance Holiday Pay):
*
£16.81 per hour basic
*
£22.40 per hour overtime
