Job Opportunity: Temporary Part-Time Sales Ledger Clerk (School Environment)
Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire
Part-Time (Flexible hours, approx. 20-25 hours/week)
Temporary (3–6 months, with potential for extension)

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sales Ledger Clerk to join a friendly and supportive finance team within a school environment near Halifax. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in finance or administration who enjoys working in a structured, community-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and update the sales ledger accurately and efficiently
2. Process invoices and receipts in a timely manner
3. Debt collection of school fees (UK and overseas)
4. Debt collection for school trips and events
5. Support the wider finance team with general administrative tasks
What We’re Looking For:
1. Previous experience in a finance or sales ledger role
2. Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance software (e.g., SIMS, Sage, or similar)
4. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
5. A friendly, professional manner and a commitment to confidentiality
6. Experience in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential
