Chef Education Activity Centre Grantham(High volume/mass catering is essential)£32,083 per annum plus company benefitsThe OpportunityA rewarding opportunity has arisen for a junior chef to work within a busy kitchen at an activity centre for young children and adults.The RoleYou will be a key member of the catering team to ensure that the catering operations runs smoothly and efficiently during breakfast, lunch and dinner times. You will prepare, cook and serve food for approx. 1200, always adhering to procedures.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, temperature checks and allergy management.The role is working 5 days out of 7 42 hours per week overtime availableShift patterns will either be 5.30am 1.30pm or 1.30pm 8.30pmChristmas off!The ideal applicantWe are looking for an experienced Chef from a high-volume background, with some experience managing or supervising working within a busy environment.We would welcome candidates from the MOD, contract catering, large Event and Wedding venues, large busy pub chains and hold the following qualificationsFood Hygiene certificateCity & Guilds 706 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalentSupervisory qualification preferredThis role is subject to a DBS check which is subsidised by the clientTPBN1_UKTJ
