We are currently recruiting for a:
Location: Springfield Road, Belfast
Hours: Within branch weekday opening hours: Monday-Thursday 7.30-5, Friday 7.30-4
About this role:
The Estimator's primary responsibility is to prepare and produce estimates from build plan designs, translating information into the Internal Raptor programme to generate a fully costed estimate of materials, plant, and labour for our customers. The Estimator will collaborate with both our clients and internal support teams to ensure accuracy and profitability of estimates.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Managing estimating for extension, renovation, loft conversion, new build (standard), and barn conversion projects.
* Liaising with customers, service teams, sales teams, and local branch teams, demonstrating strong networking and communication skills.
* Engaging with external suppliers for technical support.
* Responding to technical onsite queries and supporting amendments to estimates, build reports, and processes.
* Handling administrative queries related to estimating, amendments, and material scheduling.
Suitable applicants will ideally:
* Possess construction technical experience.
* Have basic knowledge of build regulations.
* Be experienced in reading and understanding architectural drawings and structural specifications.
* Be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Access, Word, Excel).
* Be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
* Be able to work independently and manage workload effectively.
