Graduate Fire Engineer – UK & Ireland

We are seeking graduates to join our 1,500+ global employees who advance the science of safety every day.
Responsibilities
* You will be responsible for the fire engineering analysis of projects involving new and existing buildings.
* You will work on a range of buildings such as high-rise offices, large retail complexes and airport developments, developing innovative fire engineering strategies.
* You will analyse fire growth, means of escape, structural fire resistance and smoke control using methods including computer modelling software such as Computational Fluid Dynamics. You will prepare technical reports and liaise with clients, including major building developers in the country.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
* Right to work in the UK or Ireland.
* A Master’s degree (achieved in the last two years or expected) in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical, or Physics.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
Additional qualifications
* Team player who can work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* A second European language is an advantage but not essential.
