Sous Chef
I am looking for an experienced Sous Chef who is looking to grow the professional portfolio. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen environment, working with fresh produce & contributing to our reputation for culinary excellence.
Details:
* £35k plus service charge
* 45 hours per week
* Permanent
Responsibilities:
* Menu Development: Assist the Head Chef in the creation and design of all food menus, ensuring a variety of delectable dishes.
* Quality Control: Produce high-quality plates that excel in both design and taste, setting a high standard for our culinary offerings.
* Efficient Operations: Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely manner that aligns with our stringent quality standards.
* Problem Solving: Exhibit resourcefulness in resolving any issues that arise, taking control of problematic situations with a proactive approach.
* Regulation Compliance: Adhere to and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
* Professionalism: Maintain a positive and professional approach when interacting with co-workers and customers, fostering a harmonious workplace.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef.
* Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
* Excellent record of kitchen and staff management.
* Familiar with industry’s best practices.
* Culinary school diploma.
